As the Malwarebytes customer care is the best as if you are a Malwarebytes Incident Response, Endpoint Protection, Endpoint Detection & Response that is formerly Endpoint Protection & Response, or Education Site License customer, during the term of your subscription you are entitled to Standard level Support under the terms and conditions of this SSA.

Malwarebytes customer care includes only the services identified in the list given below:

  • Phone support
  • Email support
  • Chat support
  • 24×7 Severity 1 Support
  • Designated Support Engineer
  • Priority Case Routing
  • Access to Knowledgebase
  • Get the Access to the user community
  • Access to Malwarebytes academy
  • Product training
  • Implementation Assistance
  • Migration Assistance
  • Technical Integration  Assistance
  • Malware removal and remedial  Assistance

There is something called the On-Premises Products which says that Malwarebytes Endpoint Security includes the only email and chat unless a higher level of Support is purchased separately for such product adding telephone support.

Now, Malwarebytes in its customer care provides three plans for the customers for their problems, services. The four plans are a Gold plan, the Silver plan, and the Standard Plus plan and Standard plan.

Analyzing the customer care plan wise:

  • Phone support, Email support, Chat Support, 24×7 Severity 1 Support, Designated Support Engineer, Priority Case Routing, Access to Knowledgebase, Access to the user community, Access to Malwarebytes academy, Product training, Implementation Assistance, Migration Assistance, Technical Integration  Assistance are all provided for the Gold plan users but the removal of malware is provided only on the request which is not included in the plan.
  • For the second plan which is the silver, the plan provides its users with Phone support, Email support, Chat Support, 24×7 Severity 1 Support, Priority Case Routing, Access to Knowledgebase, Access to the user community, Access to Malwarebytes academy, Product training, Implementation Assistance, Migration Assistance. But Designated Support Engineer, Technical Integration Assistance, and Removal of the malware are not provided in this silver plan.
  • Next, for the third plan which is the Standard plus provides its users with Phone support, Email support, Chat Support, 24×7 Severity 1 Support, Priority Case Routing, Access to Knowledgebase, Access to the user community, Access to Malwarebytes academy. But many like Implementation Assistance, Migration Assistance, Designated Support Engineer, Technical Integration Assistance, Product Training, and Removal of the malware are not provided in this Standard plus.
  • Lastly, for the Fourth plan which is the Standard Plan and the basic plan for its customers provides its users with Phone support, Email support, Chat Support, Access to Knowledgebase, Access to the user community, Access to Malwarebytes academy. But many like 24×7 Severity 1 Support, Priority Case Routing, Implementation Assistance, Migration Assistance, Designated Support Engineer, Technical Integration Assistance, Product Training, and Removal of the malware are not provided in this Standard plus.

Malwarebytes customer care Limitations

Malwarebytes will have no obligation to provide any Support or services under their allotted SSA in the event that:

  1.  You or a third party have altered or modified any portion of the Software in any manner without the prior written consent of Malwarebytes; 
  2. You have not installed and/or use the Software in accordance with documentation/instructions provided by Malwarebytes; 
  3. You have failed to replace earlier versions of the Software with updates or new releases provided by Malwarebytes; 
  4. Such support relates to or involves any products, data, features, devices or equipment not provided by Malwarebytes;
  5. You are not in full compliance with the other terms of this SSA, the terms of the applicable license agreement, or any other agreement between You and Malwarebytes.

Along with the above-mentioned cases, Malwarebytes shows its responsibility. Malwarebytes customer care basically depends on Customer’s compliance with the SSA, any customer representative provides accurate and detailed information sufficient for Malwarebytes to reproduce the reported error makes it easy for the Malwarebytes to eradicate that issue.

Malwarebytes has clear mention that in Malwarebytes Customer Service that in these cases it won’t give customer care:

  • Sometimes due to network unavailability because of which some emergency updates to address security, privacy, legal, regulatory, or third-party hardware or software issues are not solved which are not foreseeable by Malwarebytes or within its direct control. 
  • If any problem occurs due to the customer’s technical infrastructure then in this case Malwarebytes is not responsible for configuring or diagnosing them.
